Vocabulary, kanji, readings, conjugations, components. The whole thing, downloaded once and yours offline. Behind every word in every translation.
Built on the dictionaries the Japanese-learning world already trusts
The dictionary draws on JMdict for vocabulary, JMnedict for names, KANJIDIC for kanji data, and Kanji Alive for component information. These are the open Japanese-language resources behind most serious dictionaries on any platform. They live on your device, indexed for fast search.

Thousands of words, in depth
Every entry has Meanings and Grammar as peer tabs. Meanings shows the definitions, parts of speech, JLPT and grade tags, and the kanji that make up the word. Grammar shows the conjugation table with audio on every form.
Open it from search, from your saved word lists, or by tapping any word inside a translation. A lighter quick-access version pops up inline when you tap a word in context, with the full entry one tap further.

Pull any kanji apart
Tap a kanji and see what it's made of. Components, similar kanji, JLPT level, grade, stroke count, frequency rank. On'yomi and kun'yomi readings, each with audio.

Every form of every verb, with audio
Open the Grammar tab on any verb and see the full conjugation table. Past, negative, te-form, causative, polite, polite past, with audio on every row.
Listen to a form until it sounds right. Then move on.

Sharper search, better recall
Search at your level
Filter results by JLPT level (N5 to N1) or by frequency rank. Useful when you want to stay within the vocabulary you're actually studying. Filters need the full dictionary download.
Your fifty most recent searches
Search history keeps your last fifty lookups, so you can come back to anything you've checked recently. For words you want to keep for longer, add them to a word list.
Your own collections, however you want them
Build custom collections from any dictionary entry. A list for things you keep forgetting, a list for words from a book you're reading, a list for whatever you want. Lists are accessible from the home screen, and live alongside everything else on your device.
Lite or full, both work offline
